Welcome
I am a Washington based Licensed Mental Health Counselor who helpx women cultivate healthy relationships and break free from patterns of dysfunctional connections. My therapeutic approach is collaborative and rooted in a deep understanding of historical and intergenerational trauma, recognizing that our past experiences often shape our present behaviors and emotions.
My goal is to assist you in restoring your self-esteem, helping you recognize your inherent worth and value. Through our therapeutic journey, utilizing interventions such as Mindfulness, Internal Family Systems (pats work) and dream work, my aim is for you to feel more connected - both to yourself and to those around you.
My Story
I have over 10 years experience working in various settings including family court and nonprofit agencies.
My educational background includes an MA in Counseling Psychology with advanced work in family/couples counseling as well as creative therapies.
Every year, I continue to increase my knowledge of trauma informed practices that honor diversity and anti-colonial ways of healing.
As a person of bi-racial identity (Yankton Dakota Sioux and western European lineage) I know something about emotional struggles shaped by our environments, culture, and systemic injustice. I am a therapist with over 10 years experience in various settings, dedicated to providing evidence-based and trauma-informed interventions to empower women to build healthy relationships.
Please feel free to reach out to me today for a complimentary 15-minute consultation.
Therapy Modalities and Approach
I favor an eclectic, client-driven approach that includes parts work or Internal Family Systems (Level 1 trained), Mindfulness, and dream work
